It has been good so far…….
Here’s a run down of what I and my family been up to….
Last Saturday morning my hubby went crabbing (Dunggeness kind) with Jimmy, Dorothy’s hubby. they caught 10 crabs — 5 each for them. I boiled the crab and had them for lunch. Feel kong nasa island of PInas ako– you know those typical islander family. Hubby goes fishing then come home with the catch of the day and eat together… I love it. Bianca Ann loves crab too!
At 5 pm we start heading to Shoreline to attend the Novena— the Calbayognon in Washington get together every Saturday for the Novena for Our Lady Nativity–the patron saint of Calbayog City. We do it as a potluck– I was a co-sponsor for the Novena last Saturday–my first time. Of course theres a lot of food tapos sayawan of KURADANG or Kuratsa… we did not stayed that long –we went home around 9:20. Bianca Ann just loving all the attention she is getting from everyone…. sayaw din siya when asked to shake her booty.
Heading home we were following an Ford explorer, a SUV just like mine. My ever TALKATIVE Bianca Ann , made a comment. Dad Look at that ugly car just like MOmma’s car! …my hubby and I look at each other with my right eyebrow on the 10th floor–speechless! And I did remind my child that was not very nice, Mommy’s car might be (15 years) old but not UGLY!!! Be thankful we have a car to drive to go places!!!
Tuesday Family Night Out:
After Bianca Ann swimming we stop by on the Lake Stevens downtown, they are having the Crime against night. They had a free bouncy, food, safety information and a lot free kiddie stuff. They even have a contest for the hula hoop—course join si Mama, and winning and Beauty kong walang ganda sa category nang 30 years old and up. I won –my prize was a Starbucks gift card. I won this category also last year…
INS fingerprint on Thursday:
My hubby took a day off yesterday from his work so he can drive me to Tukwila for my fingerprint appointment at 9 am. I have a friend Michelle offered to drive me to Tukwila if ever I get my fingerprint appointment notice. SInce it was alright for my hubby to drive to Tukwila di ko sinabihan si Michelle. I only asked for help when my hubby cant drive me to my appoinment or to all driving that involved freeway. Senya na takot talaga ako—for the safety of everyone including myself better not to drive sa freeway ha!ha!a!
My appoinment went ok–got there at 9:15 am (its an hour drive from my house)… traffic was so bad! just glad made it a little after 9 am. They give me a book with a CD to study for my US Citizenship Exam. Traffic going back home is bad too, the Blue Angels (US NAVY JET PLANES) were practicing for the SEAFAIR this weekend— they closed the I-90 floating bridge. Good thing Bianca Ann was fell asleep and was asleep the whole time on our way home, nagising lang siya sa sound nang Ambulance and police siren.
I hope mapasa ko ang exam…Michelle told me on her interview she was not really asked about the civic questions–tinanong lang kung all her BIO info is all correct–thats It! sigh…wish me luck!!! Hopefully sa awa nang Diyos my interview will be within 8 months…
