Birth Story of Bianca Ann
Bianca Ann’s Birth Story.
We "made" Bianca Ann in Guam. I learned I was pregnant using the home pregnancy test on October 2002. My first reaction was Oh my gosh— I am pregnant!!! With a big smile what I am going to do. I am going to have a baby!!! The best-mixed feelings I ever experienced. I handed the result to Billy who was waiting outside the bathroom. Billy was happy and excited too when he saw the home preggy test result. I went to the base clinic had a Pregnancy test and was officially confirmed on 12 Nov. 2002. I was 6 weeks pregnant.
We are supposed to move here in Washington on June 2003 but since I was pregnant and my due date was June Billy had here PCS for WA earlier on April 2003. Billy got promoted as a Master Chief on March 2003. My friend Jane hosted a baby shower for me a few weeks before we left Guam.
Billy was stationed in USS Abraham Lincoln— the carrier just got back from a record-breaking deployment from Iraq. So in short I was all by myself all the time with that 4-cornered wall of the Marriot. So bored there’s no much to do. Got no friends to chat and hang out with. Except for the people/workers of the place. I spent most of my days to go wake up, eat a daily free breakfast with the choices of instant Cereal, English muffin, Japanese rice and instant tufo soup and fruits.
I mean of not so much to do is I cant go out to walk outside, that’s the time Lacey Peterson was missing never came back after a morning walk. So I thought I don’t want to disappear. Better be safe, just stayed inside the building sat down with Hotel PC, exercise go back to our room and watch TV.
On May 27 I was 38 weeks preggy. After having my breakfast on my way out to go back to my room. I walked pass the exercise room of the Hotel, thought why not exercise since nobody is there. I did walk on the treadmill; I love it so much that I don’t know how long I stayed on that room. At nighttime while trying to fall asleep I was having a tummy cramps so painful I have to go the bathroom to cry. Trying not to wake Billy up with my sobbing—did drink a glass of water then the pain went away.
On May 29 never learned my lesson— I went back to walk on a treadmill again
The next day 30 May I woke with my undie was wet. Thought Ok I just need to change undie and panty liner but when I bend down to pull my undie up here comes water coming out of me again. I tried not to panic because I don’t feel any pain yet said maybe one of those leak. I got another panty liner got wet again. SO this time I use the sanitary napkin. I need to go have breakfast before they put all the food away. As I was walking on the stairs—we had a room on the second floor and our building is a 5 stairs up from the main office of the Marriott. As I walking down the stairs from our room I could feel the water coming out of me. I thought maybe just stayed in my room but I don’t have food in my room for breakfast. I could have called form the front desk but I was to shy and scared they might panic if I told them about my situation. SO I did tried to walk slowly down on those 5 separate set of stairs.
