Bianca Ann at 3

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

I had Bianca Ann birthday party at the Burger King last Sunday 28 May. Her Birthday theme is a Fairy Princess…I could have done the party on our front  yard and rent a jumpy just like last year but so worried with the rainy weather we are having lately, and so glad we did it at the BK. Sunday was a wet day!!!

I bought the kids food at the BK but I cook pancit, lumpia and made a fruit platter for the adult. One of my kind neighbor made a leche flan and deviled egg for me. I ran out of lumpia— di pa nag nagsisimula ang party dinudukot na ng mga parents plus mga bata pa. It was a little chaos sa dami nga mga bata–which is most of them is mga neighbor kids din lang. Sabi ng ibang bisita ko are they all your neighbors??? Uhum…kahit nga yung host namin sabi niya that was the biggest party we ever had here :-)

Party went fine— kahit magulo at maingay. Everybody enjoy and like the food as usual— they always look forward of my pancit and Lumpia every party I host. The Celebrant had  a great time…she love BK so much. She was so itchy to open all the gifts and ate the cake though the party had not started yet.

I just had 2 parlor games at the BK and am planning to have more tomorrow 31 May, when the kids get home from school. GOt some more prize/gift needs to give away.

The paryt started at 2 pm and got done at 4:30 pm. we got there at 1:30 pm to arrange the place. We even ran out of table and chairs sa dami ng tao, I even have 3 more families did not make it.

I had Bianca Ann pic taken at the Kiddie Kandid studio yesterday—I was in  a hurry that I forgot to bring her white dress  shoes…The photographer informed me just to remove her stocking and much better to have her pic be taken barefooted. All the shoot were great..and she does look a grown up on her pic. I cant believe I got a SUPER CUTE little girl!! ( walang kokontra–purya buyag lang ha!!!) ha!ha!ha!

Birth Story prt.2

Wednesday, May 31st, 2006

So happy when I made it to the building—it was Sharon an older lady who was on the front desk at that time. I told her about my leaking that morning—I am having leak with no tummy pain. She freaked out and went digging the hospital number, and advised me to call my hubby to inform him about my situation. I could not reached him with my cell phone so I tried to call the ship operator and he was being page on the ship. He was on the meeting, Hubby asked me I feel any pain I said no! Just the water leaking. He told me I fine know that I am 2 weeks far of my due date so he hung up the phone. I told Ms. Joan about what Billy said, Ms. Joan replied your Hubby is not a Nurse to tell you are fine. She handed me the Hospital Nurse number to call. While talking to the Nurse, she advised me to go the Hospital SOON so they can see me before I run out of water. I called back my smart hubby that he needs to take me to the hospital as soon as possible.

While waiting for my hubby to pick me up for the Hospital thought to send email to my friends letting them know what’s going on with me that morning. After 10 minutes here comes Billy catching his breath asking for me on the front desk…when he saw with the PC. He smiled commenting that look at that getting ready for the hospital but still sitting with the PC. He! He! He!

Billy went to our room to get my hospital bag, and head to the hospital. Got in around 10 am, went to the emergency room. Water still gushing out from me—the Nurse said its dangerous I might get infection or something.  They induce me for labor while waiting for the medicine to work—Billy got his camera- asked me go out the labor room to take a picture of me around the hospital, with the Carrier in the background. The Providence Everett Hospital is just a mile away from the Everett Naval Base.

When we get back to my labor room Nurse was in our room waiting for us…she said she’s been looking around the hospital for us, she thought we left the hospital.  She needs to hook IV on me;  and the monitors for my blood and the baby’s heart beat. I hated all those stuff around my belly and the every time the Nurse check my dilation—-I did not like the feeling – so ouchy and uncomfortable!!!

Billy was still on his Khaki uniform, told him to change—he hesitated at first he is so worried he might missed the birthing part. The nurse told him it will be awhile since I never feel any labor pain yet. He went to the Marriot change and came back with a big smile when he saw me still in bed with a big tummy. The nurse tried to talk to me if I need a numbing medicine for the labor I said no!

It was Friday night the Funniest Video of America was on—we watched and had a good laugh as always, then I feel some cramps. My hubby and I tried all the stuff we learned from the birth class to ease the pain. I even sat on a big ball. At around 11 pm went to use the bathroom I felt the urge to push I informed Billy and Nurse about it. They told me to hold on to it, the Doc on Duty was still assisting at the next room.

At 11:15 pm the male Doctor came in— I had Billy on my left side and a coaching nurse on my right. I guess that was the longest time of my life—the pushing part. As I struggle to push my baby out of me. So many scary thought played in my brains—so scared if I don’t push that good they are going to use a suction or thong to pull the baby out of me. I don’t want that to happen—I just thought of my mother and sisters did the regular labor why cant I.

A few more pushing  —the Doc. informed me that he could see the baby’s head now. Three more push here comes the baby at 12:39 am — Bianca Ann was crying. Her crying feels like listening to the sweetest music I ever heard. They placed Bianca Ann on my chest before they cleaned her, I was so happy and exhausted. Holding and touching my baby in person was the best feeling at that time—the wait is over. I finally hold my baby in person. My hubby kissed me and told me how proud he was of me. I guess Billy uses almost 10 rolls of film since I was admitted to the hospital till Bianca Ann’s second day…

Birth Story of Bianca Ann

Bianca Ann’s Birth Story.

We "made" Bianca Ann in Guam. I learned I was pregnant using the home pregnancy test on October 2002. My first reaction was Oh my gosh— I am pregnant!!! With a big smile what I am going to do.  I am going to have a baby!!! The best-mixed feelings I ever experienced. I handed the result to Billy who was waiting outside the bathroom. Billy was happy and excited too when he saw the home preggy test result. I went to the base clinic had a Pregnancy test and was officially confirmed on 12 Nov. 2002. I was 6 weeks pregnant.

We are supposed to move here in Washington on June 2003 but since I was pregnant and my due date was June Billy had here PCS for WA earlier on April 2003. Billy got promoted as a Master Chief on March 2003. My friend Jane hosted a baby shower for me a few weeks before we left Guam.

Billy was stationed in USS Abraham Lincoln— the carrier just got back from a record-breaking deployment from Iraq. So in short I was all by myself all the time with that 4-cornered wall of the Marriot. So bored there’s no much to do. Got no friends to chat and hang out with. Except for the people/workers of the place.  I spent most of my days to go wake up, eat a daily free breakfast with the choices of instant Cereal, English muffin, Japanese rice and instant tufo soup and fruits.

I mean of not so much to do is I cant go out to walk outside, that’s the time Lacey Peterson was missing never came back after a morning walk. So I thought I don’t want to disappear. Better be safe, just stayed inside the building sat down with Hotel PC, exercise go back to our room and watch TV.

On May 27 I was 38 weeks preggy.  After having my breakfast on my way out to go back to my room.  I walked pass the exercise room of the Hotel, thought why not exercise since nobody is there. I did walk on the treadmill; I love it so much that I don’t know how long I stayed on that room. At nighttime while trying to fall asleep I was having a tummy cramps so painful I have to go the bathroom to cry.  Trying not to wake Billy up with my sobbing—did drink a glass of water then the pain went away.

On May 29 never learned my lesson— I went back to walk on a treadmill again ;-) The next day 30 May I woke with my undie was wet. Thought Ok I just need to change undie and panty liner but when I bend down to pull my undie up here comes water coming out of me again. I tried not to panic because I don’t feel any pain yet said maybe one of those leak. I got another panty liner got wet again. SO this time I use the sanitary napkin. I need to go have breakfast before they put all the food away.  As I was walking on the stairs—we had a room on the second floor and our building is a 5 stairs up from the main office of the Marriott. As I walking down the stairs from our room I could feel the water coming out of me. I thought maybe just stayed in my room but I don’t have food in my room for breakfast. I could have called form the front desk but I was to shy and scared they might panic if I told them about my situation. SO I did tried to walk slowly down on those 5 separate set of  stairs.

Tuesday, May 16th, 2006

I had a free lunch today cause, she asked me to babysit her niece yesterday while she went to attend an Oathtaking Ceremony of her US citizenship–it just take 5 months for Michelle to apply and got approve–she is so lucky.

About my application–isinantabi ko lang muna, nawalan na ako ng gana…I got all the paperworks needed except for the "DRIVE" to be a US Citizen… what for??? tell me.

Mothers Day…

Monday, May 15th, 2006

Here I am again alive, kicking and with stuffed nose from my allergy hu!hu!hu! I cant breath, it started last Friday….

Neweez been enjoying the warm and sunny weather here in Lake Stevens, my unica hija been playing with the water sprinkler and water ballons in our lawn…

My Mother’s day went fine, my hubby wakes me up with a Mother’s day kisses. Then he wakes up Bianca Ann brought her to our bedroom–singing a Mother’s day song in a Happy Birthday tune. We all went down to the kitchen. Bianca Ann was so excited to show me the ballon she got me, and start asking daddy wheres the Birthday cake. he!he!he! My hubby got me a hanging basket of fuschia and 2 pots of red plants I forgot the name.

Whole family suppose to go to church but Billy made a deal that he is going to stay home to clean and pick up stuff around the house….just another way NOT to COME to church with me. Thought it was a good deal but still I do wish he had come with me to the church so he can watch Bianca Ann for me. So hard to concentrate listening with the Mass cause I have to see/follow Bianca Ann is fine and she’s not hurting anyone or nobody will hurt here inside the church crying room. Life with a toddler -bow!!!

After the church got busy making the deviled egg, potato salad, boiling corn and peanuts for the Mother’s day barbecue in our back porch, with the McCarthy family and a neighbor (her hubby is on the carrier)… We had an ice cream MOther’s day cake for dessert, my first time to have one. It was indeed a quite Mother’s Day get together with our friends and family.

Oh the joy of being a MOther…bow!
