My New year’s Eve!
It was more crazy preparation to meet the new year than getting ready for Christmas. I did a lot of extra cleaning and washing around the house before the 2005 leave/end.
I was supposed to go grocery on Friday but Bianca Ann was not feeling good so I have to wait till the next day Saturday to do my grocery shopping for the New Year’s Eve party. And it was a bad idea—-came home at 3 pm then start cooking for the party. I had only Biko, fruit salad and lumpia for Filipino food—I run out of time to cook pansit—Billy cooked Angus prime rib and a mexican menudo (soup) made of cows tripe we did a potluck with our 4 neighbors.
After the dinner we start kara-oke singing— even Bianca Ann join in with her alphabet song. At 11:45 pm Billy started his fireworks… it was fun and he had blast playing with it. Oh he got awe on his right hand palm..it was windy trying to cover lighted wick and burns his palm. He is fine though…Bianca Ann got a share of the fireworks — she does love it too. Some of the kids who were in our house were scared of the fire works –one even scream so hard…not my Bianca Ann she was the only toddler who was outside the house even had an sparkler!!!! tough ha!
I clean up the kitchen till 4 am…then woke up at noon. Papa and Bianca Ann already put down the Christmas tree and clean up all the Christmas decoration inside the house. Billy did re-arrange the living room. After the late lunch Billy went up to take down all the Christmas lights from the roof and holiday deco outside. Helped him put it away in boxes..Bianca Ann was crying she wants her Santa Claus, and snowman stuff to play with we told her all the stuff need to go na-night and will be back in 11 months…

I agree that Bianca Ann is a tough girl. That’s good. We didn’t put any decorations. We just didn’t feel it this Christmas & New Year. I missed the decorating though. Cramming ka pala sa preparations mo. Oh well, at least you still made it. Next year uli!

Its alright there’s always a next year— Billy helped a lot in Christmas decoration am just glad he is into it. Last year he was on deployment so medyo bumawi lang siya this year… One thing Billy dont like whenever we host a party is my cooking of Filipino food… he dont like it me getting busy preparing/cooking all those food. Yung mga bisita ko naman they are always looking forward of my pansit and lumpia. hay buhay!!! Sabi nang asawa ko next year we might just go out sa Restaurant for holiday dinner–he!he!he! Inshallah.
