My Birthday, Christmas and 4th Wedding Anniversary!
I do love Christmas and how our sorrounding turned into a Fantasy Land kinda of place… all those Christmas lights at night time; Christmas decorations in all the places you go–wherever you look and Christmas song over the radio; and your own house…just a great feeling!!! not to mention the holiday stress that comes with it also—-
Last 10 Dec. we had a Childrens Christmas party in our neighborhood at Gina’s house. We did exchange names of our kids then we did let Santa give the gift to each kid at the party. Bianca Ann was the only one to remember to give Santa a cookies—and she was not scared of Santa this time—she even sit on Santa’s lap. We did had a Christmas photo taken last 4 Dec. at the Poinsettia Festival in Flower World… Bianca Ann give Santa an Oreo cookies also but she did not sit on his lap— so scared of him—si Mama na lang hino-un ang naglingkod kay Santa lap..he!he!he!
23 Dec. we had a girls night out with my neighbors, its our "tradition" everytime may mag-birthday sa grupo namin. We do usually go dinner then dancing but this time we went out to watch Memoirs of a Geisha only… to relax a bit from the holiday stress thats been consuming us up. It was raining hard, chilly and oh boy the traffic— what about the movie it was alright!!! Cant wait to watch it on DVD with CC-he!he!he!
My Birthday… we went to the church at 8:30 am for the Christmas day mass and I never know it was a spanish mass— after the mass. Billy drop us home and went to store to get something ???- he said secret…finally opened the presents at 11 am–we are hungry we did not had a breakfast good thing Billy brought home a box of doughnuts… we were munching it while opening the presents…
Santa Papa Toto was so good in giving gifts this year- I got a 2 set of Henckels (2 person logo)steak knives for an anniversary gift; a hundred dollar bill; a casino chips worth hundred dollar(all these money been spent…); a box of Lancome Magie Noire bottle perfume and lotion (ang amoy parang after shave ng asawa ko
I talked to him about it after i tried it –he said that’s why he loves the smell and jokingly asked me humm.. you smell good did you just shave??? I am using it as my bedtime lotion. I got a Burberry perfume from Lanie a waray friend I met in Bahrain (Bianca Ann’s ninang), a purse picture frame from Lita I met from Guam(Bianca Ann’s ninang), a box of lotion from body works and beyond-(warm sugar and vanilla) from Sokhaley, 2 set of earrings and necklaces from Dorothy and a bag of goddies as an anniversary gifts; 2 Liz Clairborne blouses from Michelle.
We went to Gina’s house for a Christmas dinner—not much picture while we were there because they were just wearing a house dress in short pjs type (tawag niya casual). Neweez Billy got me a surprise birthday cake…I was hoping he got me one am not sure when he is going to take it out. I know my hubby he is full of surprises…able to blow my candles the second time—kasi the kids blew it off first for me soon they all got done the birthday song— see I dont have a birthday cakes when I was growing up, I guess the very first birthday cake I got was when I turned 18. Made of rice puto flavored with cocoa and borrowed b-day candles— then nasundan in my 27th b-day sa Bahrain until ngayon….God is Good ha?!!
On our Christmas dinner we brought Angus prime rib and the eternal pansit; Maya brought ham and beans; the host got a king crab legs (yahoo!!!) mashed potatoes and green peas… then yada-yada afterwards while sipping their margarita he!he!he!
On the 27th Dec. I received a package…I did not open until Billy came home— it was a box of MAGIC SING/MIC!!!! Wowowee— my hubby must be crazy in-love with me and my singing tone ha!ha!ha!. He knows I am more in dancing…well the first time we met back in 1998 in Calbayog; on our very first dinner date "ALONE" in Prince Court Rest. they had a karaoke bar–I sing him a song Sailing-first time kong kumanta in public (katuwa-an lang kako ala namang masyadong customer at that time- no harm sa appetite nila) which I remember puro pata-as ang tono ko…from then on ayun he is so proud of my singing "talent"- kuno-ha!ha!ha! Me and my funny-sweet-honey of mine-bow!!!
