Its past midnight—Just got back from a couple’s night out with Dorothy and Jim— buffet dinner at the Tulalip Casinos Eagle’s Nest Rest. and shaking booty at La Hacienda  dancing floor.

While at the la Hacianda I called Michelle to know who wins the match-cant wait till we get home.  Michelle my other Filipina neighbor bought the HBO pay-per view match of Morales and Pacman— I would love to watch it at their house but I made an engagement with Dorothy for Saturday night. I did miss the action though.

Neweez am so happy to learn that Manny Pacquiao WINS against Morales… HEP-HEP-HOORAY!!!! SO PROUD OF YOU MANNY…

I cant wait to watch the replay if ever…. Inshallah!!!

25 consecutive days of pouring rain in WA.

Thursday, January 12th, 2006

Yes it is and we are folks..They even mentioned it in Today Show of NBC yesterday morning- a record breaking 25 rainy days. Whew!! its  a long rainy days ha? never experience it in Clabyog City, Samar- even the newscaster folks of our local TV are wondering when the sun coming out—

In some part are worse–flood; fallen trees on a cars; soil erosion on rail road; house by the beach and over-flowing river. I notice since I got here last April 2003–we dont have a typhoon/hurricane (knock-on-wood) but we do have windy weather (affects electricity) and loooong rainy chilly days!!! AM just glad I have to do my laundry with the washing machine or else got no place to wash and dry our clothes. he!he!he!

When its windy and raining hard here–I cant sleep that good cause it reminds me of our house in Calbayog. We have to get up, to check and fix the roof leak or get a pail for the leak inside the house. he!he!he! Hay buhay probinsiya–mahirap pero at least masaya!!!

Ang asawa kong Panday-bow!!!

Billy is on leave for a week this week..and as usual doing something around the house which is good. This time finishing the arbor he built last fall; he is putting the roof getting ready for the spring/summertime. And he is trying to finish the roof outside -under the rain-chilly weather.— here’s some of the ph0tos I took earlier—Panday061 Panday062 Panday063 Panday064 Panday065

He  built the arbor all by himself (you can hear him complaining of his sore muscles when the night time comes— poor Billy); its looking good. I cant wait for the DRY COOL SEASON to ENJOY it. I just hope it will stand’keep up on windy weather. Inshallah!!!

He did our wooden fence around the house too, the concrete floor on the backyard and the landscape on our front yard. Hanep!!!

My New year’s Eve!

Thursday, January 5th, 2006

It was more crazy preparation to meet the new year than getting ready for Christmas. I did a lot of extra cleaning and washing around the house before the 2005 leave/end.

I was supposed to go grocery on Friday but Bianca Ann was not feeling good so I have to wait till the next day Saturday to do my grocery shopping for the New Year’s Eve party. And it was a bad idea—-came home at 3 pm then start cooking for the party. I had only Biko, fruit salad and lumpia for Filipino food—I run out of time to cook pansit—Billy cooked Angus prime rib and a mexican menudo (soup) made of cows tripe we did a potluck with our 4 neighbors.

After the dinner we start kara-oke singing— even Bianca Ann join in with her alphabet song. At 11:45 pm Billy started his fireworks… it was fun and he had blast playing with it. Oh he got awe on his right hand palm..it was windy trying to cover lighted wick and burns his palm. He is fine though…Bianca Ann got a share of the fireworks — she does love it too. Some of the kids who were in our house were scared of the fire works –one even scream so hard…not my Bianca Ann she was the only toddler who was outside the house even had an sparkler!!!! tough ha!

I clean up the kitchen till 4 am…then woke up at noon. Papa and Bianca Ann already put down the Christmas tree and clean up all the Christmas decoration inside the house. Billy did re-arrange the living room.  After the late lunch Billy went up to take down all the Christmas lights from the roof and holiday deco outside. Helped him put it away in boxes..Bianca Ann was crying she wants her Santa Claus, and snowman stuff to play with we told her all the stuff need to go na-night and will be back in 11 months…

My Birthday, Christmas and 4th Wedding Anniversary!

Wednesday, January 4th, 2006

I do love Christmas and how our sorrounding turned into a Fantasy Land kinda of place… all those Christmas lights at night time; Christmas decorations in all the places you go–wherever you look and Christmas song over the radio; and your own house…just a great feeling!!! not to mention the holiday stress that comes with it also—- ;-)

Last 10 Dec. we had a Childrens Christmas party in our neighborhood at Gina’s house. We did exchange names of our kids then we did let Santa give the gift to each kid at the party. Bianca Ann was the only one to remember to give Santa a cookies—and she was not scared of Santa this time—she even sit on Santa’s lap. We did had a Christmas photo taken last 4 Dec. at the Poinsettia Festival in Flower World… Bianca Ann give Santa an Oreo cookies also but she did not sit on his lap— so scared of him—si Mama na lang hino-un ang naglingkod kay Santa lap..he!he!he!

23 Dec. we had a girls night out with my neighbors, its our "tradition" everytime may mag-birthday sa grupo namin. We do usually go dinner then dancing but this time we went out to watch Memoirs of a Geisha only… to relax a bit from the holiday stress thats been consuming us up. It was raining hard, chilly and oh boy the traffic— what about the movie it was alright!!! Cant wait to watch it on DVD with CC-he!he!he!

My Birthday… we went to the church at 8:30 am for the Christmas day mass and I never know it was a spanish mass— after the mass. Billy drop us home and went to store to get something ???- he said secret…finally opened the presents at 11 am–we are hungry we did not had a breakfast good thing Billy brought home a box of doughnuts… we were munching it while opening the presents…

Santa Papa Toto was so good in giving gifts this year- I got a 2 set of Henckels (2 person logo)steak knives for an anniversary gift; a hundred dollar bill; a casino chips worth hundred dollar(all these money been spent…); a box of Lancome Magie Noire bottle perfume and lotion (ang amoy parang after shave ng asawa ko ;-) I talked to him about it after i tried it –he said that’s why he loves the smell and jokingly asked me humm.. you smell good did you just shave??? I am using it as my bedtime lotion. I got a Burberry perfume from Lanie a waray friend I met in Bahrain (Bianca Ann’s ninang), a purse picture frame from Lita I met from Guam(Bianca Ann’s ninang), a box of lotion from body works and beyond-(warm sugar and vanilla) from Sokhaley, 2 set of earrings and necklaces from Dorothy and a bag of goddies as an anniversary gifts; 2 Liz  Clairborne blouses from Michelle.

We went to Gina’s house for a Christmas dinner—not much picture while we were there because they were just wearing a house dress in short pjs type (tawag niya casual). Neweez Billy got me a surprise birthday cake…I was hoping he got me one am not sure when he is going to take it out. I know my hubby he is full of surprises…able to blow my candles the second time—kasi the kids blew it off first for me soon they all got done the birthday song— see I dont have a birthday cakes when I was growing up, I guess the very first birthday cake  I got was when I  turned 18. Made of  rice puto flavored with cocoa and borrowed b-day candles— then nasundan in my 27th b-day sa Bahrain until ngayon….God is Good ha?!!

On our Christmas dinner we brought Angus prime rib and the eternal pansit; Maya brought ham and beans; the host got a king crab legs (yahoo!!!) mashed potatoes and green peas… then yada-yada afterwards while sipping their margarita he!he!he!

On the 27th Dec. I received a package…I did not open until Billy came home— it was a box of MAGIC SING/MIC!!!! Wowowee— my hubby must be crazy in-love with me and my singing tone ha!ha!ha!. He knows I am more in dancing…well the first time we met back in 1998 in Calbayog; on our very first dinner date "ALONE" in Prince Court Rest. they had a karaoke bar–I sing him a song Sailing-first time kong kumanta in public (katuwa-an lang kako ala namang masyadong customer at that time- no harm sa appetite nila) which I remember puro pata-as ang tono ko…from then on ayun he is so proud of my singing "talent"- kuno-ha!ha!ha! Me and my funny-sweet-honey of mine-bow!!!
